 GENERAL DESCRIPTION 
Student Housing Coordinator is charged with shaping the environment and experiences of residential students by providing a safe, functional, clean, and attractive living and learning environment within our residential facilities.  The Student Housing Coordinator will work to verify accurate occupancy records. Additionally, this position provides general support in the day-to-day operation of our residential facilities, including quality control inspections.

RESPONSIBILITIES  
  •  Cultivate a positive and engaging living environment that foster a sense of belonging and enables students to build positive relationships with one another 
  • Maintain high visibility and availability, including attending community events, regularly touring the community, and interacting with residents 
  • Know the residents and provide personal, social, academic, and occupational support and referral Review all incident reports for incidents that take place in the community and/or involve residents living in the community 
  • Report, track, and follow up on maintenance issues with appropriate building managers, housekeeping staff, and physical facilities employees 
  • Create bookings for all students staying on-campus 
  • Administer student check-in, check-out, and room changes; assist with room condition reports and damage billing processes 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field.

  EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  •  May require non-traditional hours during peak operational periods. 
  • Communication and organization skills. 
  • Computer Knowledge (MS Office). 
  • This position is expected to understand, enforce, and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures as set forth by Bay Atlantic University. 
  • Pay particular attention to policies relating to the safety and security of the residence halls. 
  • To ensure the health and safety of our community, BAU requires COVID-19 vaccinations for faculty and staff.  
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
